I have a 2005 Titan Bobber. It has given me few problems and rides like a dream. It is a real head turner with performance to match. I have had mixed success in regard to contacting Titan. Overall I would rate the bike high on the diserability scale.

This is the third Titan I've bought: 1 Phoenix, 1 Indy 500, and now a Y2K Gecko. They all have had major problems. I've only ridden all three a combined 200 miles. They all have been shipped from the factory missing major components, wheel spacers, etc. All have leaked oil. The Y2K Gecko was shipped with the wrong jack shaft and primary cover, destroying the clutch assembly. I have sent email to Titan, but they will not respond. After spending more than $100,000 on 3 bikes, one would think that they would be interested in making a customer happy. My advice - stay away, there is no quality control, and you can't get a straight answer from Titan.

I've put a little over 2k miles on my 2000 Titan Geko RM with no problems whatsoever. It is my number two bike, for around town trips or for day trips of 200 miles or less. It appears to be top quality construction and with the 113cc engine a real screamer. The paint is a beautiful granite with "mystic paint" tears which change color depending on the light and angle of view. It always draws a crowd and lots of complements. I have a good friend who has a similar bike with the same results. Overall, I'd say it’s a great second bike if you can afford it.

Very bad luck with this bike. Everything from fork seals to starters, batteries, wiring under the tank, lighting, exhaust pipes, master cylinders, digital dash, headlight connector, high speed wobble (65mph), turn signals (front & rear), leak & wiring problems, top motor mount "Tee" broken, too much too list. DO NOT BUY FROM TITAN!

In the past 30 years I’ve owned approx. 25 bikes most of them Harleys. From a 47 knuckle on up, but I’ve never owned anything like my Titan! This bike flat out gets it done, this is the most exciting, fun bike I’ve ever rode. It’s so smooth, shifts like butter, and it's extremely fast. The build quality is impeccable titan spared nothing on this bike. I always told my wife if I ever hit the lottery the first thing I would buy is a titan, well I didn’t hit the lottery but I did get the titan I couldn’t stand it any longer. Thirty-three thousand seems like insanity for a motorcycle but these bikes worth every penny you couldn’t get a Harley anywhere near the quality and performance of this bike. If you ever get a chance to ride a Titan, do it, you won't believe it.

HI THIS IS RICH AGAIN WITH A FOLLOW-UP ON MY 99 SIDEWINDER. I GUESS I MUST OF JUST GOT LUCKY,FROM THE REVIEWS I'VE READ AND FROM TALKING WITH ALOT OF GUYS AT THE FUNTIONS INCLUDING BIKE WEEK IT'S ABOUT 50/50. THERE EITHER TOTALLY BLOWN AWAY LIKE MYSELF OR THEY'VE HAD NOTHING BUT TROUBLE. I HAVE ALITTLE OVER 3000 MILES ON MY BIKE NOW AND STILL RUNNING LIKE A CLOCK HELL THE PIPES ON MY BIKE HAVE'NT EVEN BLUED. I WILL AGREE TITAN IS A SHITTY COMPANY THEY DON'T STAND BEHIND THERE CUSTOMER PHILOSOPHY AT ALL. I.VE WRITTEN THEM LETTERS, E-MAILS AND PHONE CALLS WITH NO RESPONSE. YOU JUST CAN'T GET AHOLD OF THEM FOR ANYTHING IT'S A SHAME, HOW SOMEONE COULD CONCEIVE BUILDING SUCH A GORGEOUS, ELEGANT HIGH PERFORMANCE BIKE AND THEN MANAGE THE COMPANY INTO THE GROUND, GO FIGURE. ANYWAY I'VE NEVER SEEN SUCH AN EXCITING TIME IN MOTORCYCLING THEN NOW. I WOULD'NT MIND HEARING FROM OTHER TITAN OWNERS ON THERE EXPERIENCES AND THOUGHTS OR FROM ANY OF THE ALTERNATIVE V-TWIN BUILDERS. THANKS RICH

Bought a new 1999 Titan Roadrunner Sx and have nothing but good things to say about the bike. It's never given me a minutes trouble and it's flat out gorgeous. I've heard a horror story about a Phoenix but I couldn't be happier with mine. It's fast, looks good with a high level of fit and finish. I've owned several Harleys in the past and actually own another one now but it just doesn't make my heart beat like the Titan does.

Although I have not had the bike long, I will tell you that the power this bike is something to behold. It would take thousands and thousands of dollars worth of high-performance upgrades on a Harley to get even close to what this bike has. If you’re looking for raw power and a great look, then this bike is for you. If there is any one thing that I think should be improved upon, it would be for Titan to spend a little more money on the exhaust. Chrome covers over the tops of the areas that turn color, or even doubled walls on the exhaust system would be good suggestions. However, the true powerful sound is outstanding. These Iron Horses will be around to stay and they are getting a lot of Harley owners to be ex Harley owners.

I love my Titan. I am either riding, 1800 miles in 6 weeks, or looking at it sitting in my garage. I have added the danny-gray seat and a sissy bar with a back pad. So to ride 2 up sometimes, I went from a roll in 1st gear with a new H D Deuce, when I shifted into 3rd gear I looked in my mirror and I was 150 feet ahead. This bike accelerates like my old 900 Kaw. What more can I say.

I purchased my new Phoenix ZRM in March 2000 with great excitement only to be followed with many heart aches disappointments. While the bike looks and runs great I have had three inner primary seals replaced along with two ignition coils replaced. The bike is currently broke another possible coil failure, it has had one recall constant carburetor problems and a dealership (TITAN OF HOUSTON) that does not give a DAMN about you or your bike. I have wrote and e-mailed Titan many times and never heard nothing in return so I guess I will just keep all my receipts and try to lemon law this piece of crap when the law allows!
