Pros: great comfort and handling plenty of torque and power
Cons: the stock pipes and intake had to go right away. way to quiet

I love this bike! This is my first Harley and it won't be my last. Like just about every other red blooded American I dreamed of owning a Harley when I was young, and for me this dream has finally come true.
I had been looking at the different Harley models for a while, and fell in love with my bike the first time I saw it. It is a 2001 Harley Davidson Softail Standard in Diamond ice(silver) with the fuel injection option. I bought the bike in March of 2001 and have logged over 5000 miles on my baby.
I have added many different parts so far such as; chrome o-ring footpegs (front and rear),HD saddle bags, Carlini Muscle-T handle bars, chrome o-ring grips, braided metal brake and clutch lines, chrome o-ring gearshift nob, cateye taillight, and slotted turn-signals (front and rear).
My first and most important addition to my bike was a new exhaust. I know the factory has to deal with noise emission problems, but I don't! When I first turned over the engine on the bike I was a bit disappointed. I was expecting to hear that infamous Harley sound, but instead I thought I had just started the engine of a Honda! So I got a new set of Vance and Hines Longshot pipes installed and it sounded like a different machine. Now it was worthy of the Harley badge on the side of the tank.
