I got my 2000 Boss Hoss 3 weeks ago and just can't leave it alone. I was worried about the mountains and curves but the first day I got it I rode to Yosemite on Hwy 49 and what a dream. The one thing is the torque in the turns and it does take a little getting used to. Just like the info on the net says, punch it, and count, thousand one, thousand two, thousand three and you are in triple digits. What a bike....

A few years ago I was on my way home on the highway. I punched off with a hoss around 70. By 140 I pulled him by 200 feet on my 91 zx11. Now I have a zx12. So if you think those things are bad bring them to St. Louis. I can't wait till we hit the first turn. seeya on the highway boss man.

I bought my boss hose 502 march of 2000. So far I have 145.6 miles on it. I bought it because I wanted to be cooler than all those Harley guys. I bought the 502 instead of the 350 to also help compensate for my lack of endowment. I am so cool it hurts and so does this bike(my pocketbook anyway). Due to the fact that I have more money than brains, or is it more debt than brains, I forget. But anyway the motorcycle is hard to ride because the leathers I bought are tight and uncomfortable. Also I have never ridden a motorcycle before. I have tipped it over seven times and its so heavy I call a tow truck (with my cellular phone) to help me pick it back up. What I do now is just drive it somewhere there are a lot of people and park it. That way a lot of people can see how cool I am. I think someday I might buy a Harley too learn on because I'm very wealthy.

If you like to go real fast in seconds this is the bike for you. The feel of v8 power between your legs is unreal,And if you like to do real big burnouts no problem add a little nitrous and the fun begines.Ive owned my Boss for two years with no major problems.Keep a strict service program.I always have a lot of people come to me and ask me all kinds of questions about the BOSS.Well have fun going out and dusting off the little guys.

It seems that those that ridicule the Boss Hoss are always the people that have never ridden one. I haven't yet read a bike mag test review of a late model Boss Hoss in which the writer didn't want to own one. The Boss is a special purpose bike for those that want the fun power factor in the biggest loudest bike and those that want the ultimate long distance cruiser, and of course for those that want something few others have. The rice rockets are sometimes a little faster at 1/3 the price but try and ride a rice rocket for 8 hrs on a cross country trip!! A Harley riding friend of mine rides his son's 2004, 1000cc Susuki sport bike once a month to remind himself of why he rides a Harley!! If you Park your rice rocket next to a Boss, no one will notice your bike is there. The boss isn't for everyone, but if you gave me a new 1000cc rice rocket I would only use it to get to a dealer to see what kind of trade in it would get me on a cruiser. If I could afford a Boss I would be riding one and one day I might. It just might be a Boss 502 trike. Still thinking about that one. Firbird.

I own a 2001 ZZ4 (350) Boss Hoss. It is the smallest Hoss offers and completely stock. To all the rice burner skeptics I say: BRING IT!!! You better be sporting some serious upgrades or wearing good glasses to keep my rubber out of your eyes!! Heavy...yes. Hard to ride...Not even a little bit. I have owned two jap bikes and neither were as reliable as my Hoss. Ride this bike and you will appreciate a true engineering masterpiece. Don't hate it because it's badder than you.
